What Is IRLHost? (And What It Is Not)
IRLHost Is a Private SRT Relay Server
IRLHost is a cloud-hosted SRT relay for IRL streamers. You point your encoder (phone, Belabox, etc.) at your IRLHost server, and it stabilises your mobile connection and makes it available as a clean SRT endpoint — which your OBS at home pulls from and sends to your streaming platform.
The flow is: Phone/encoder → IRLHost relay → Your OBS at home → Twitch/Kick/YouTube
No Cloud OBS, no remote desktop, no Linux server to configure. IRLHost is purely the relay layer — your OBS handles the stream to your platform.
What IRLHost Is NOT
There is some confusion online between IRLHost.gg and other services. Let us clear it up:
- IRLHost.gg is not irlhosting.com — irlhosting.com is a separate, unrelated company offering Cloud OBS at $30–$80+/month. IRLHost.gg is a different product at €11.99/month + VAT.
- IRLHost does not send directly to Twitch or Kick — your OBS does that. IRLHost stabilises the connection between your phone and OBS.
- IRLHost is not a Cloud OBS — you need your own PC with OBS (or a similar tool like Streamlabs or vMix) to receive from IRLHost and stream to your platform.
- IRLHost is not a hardware product — nothing to buy or ship. It works with your existing encoder.
What IRLHost Includes
Every IRLHost server includes:
- Private SRT/SRTLA relay — your own isolated server, not shared
- Codec-agnostic relay — IRLHost passes through whatever codec your encoder sends, including H.265/HEVC if your phone and app support it
- SRTLA connection bonding — combine multiple connections (WiFi + mobile data) for maximum stability
- Automatic scene switching via NOALBS — BRB scene when your signal drops, Live scene when it recovers
- Twitch and Kick chat commands (!start, !stop, !bitrate, !stats, !fix and more)
- Real-time stream health dashboard — bitrate, RTT, packet loss, uptime
- IRLHost Link desktop app — OBS crash alerts and remote PC control via chat
- Infrastructure on 100% green energy (EU, US, Asia)
- No port forwarding required
Who Is IRLHost For?
IRLHost is built for IRL streamers who want a stable, professional stream without managing a server. If you have ever had your stream drop because your phone signal dipped for two seconds, IRLHost solves that. The relay stabilises your mobile connection so your OBS always receives a clean, uninterrupted feed — even when you move between signal zones.
It works with any encoder that supports SRT or SRTLA — Moblin, IRL Pro, Larix, Belabox hardware, OBS Studio, FFmpeg, and more.
How Much Does IRLHost Cost?
IRLHost costs €11.99/month + VAT. One plan, everything included. No setup fees, no contracts, cancel anytime. Your server is typically ready within a few minutes after signing up.
How Is IRLHost Different from Belabox Cloud?
Belabox Cloud is primarily a bonding relay. IRLHost is a full relay with SRTLA bonding, codec-agnostic passthrough (including H.265), scene switching, chat integration, and stream monitoring built in. Many streamers use Belabox hardware as their encoder and IRLHost as their relay — the two work great together.
